NATIONS Announces Partnership with The Interpreter's Lab for Interpreter Training

NATIONS Translation Group is entering into a partnership with The Interpreter’s Lab for interpreter training. This collaboration prepares our Group for the sharply increased demand in the Canadian market for interpreters by providing unparalleled access to training for both our own internal resources and our clients.

Since 2012, The Interpreter’s Lab has been at the forefront of Canadian education and training for professional interpreters, empowering English-speaking bilingual interpreters to work in community, medical and legal settings. It is one of the best-regarded firms providing these courses in Canada in the language industry.

The Interpreter’s Lab will be delivering their high-quality training to all interpreters in our Group of companies, which includes both NATIONS and Language Marketplace. Our Group will also be offering this training to our own clients as a result of this partnership.

NATIONS and Language Marketplace are both committed to providing top-tier interpretation services to our clients in the public and private sectors. We have worked with clients in the health care sector, call centres, broadcast media, courts, financial institutions and much more.

In addition to these organizations, we have provided and continue to provide interpreters to the public service at various levels of government, including the federal Government of Canada and various provincial governments.

The Translation Bureau’s recent statement outlined its strong need to increase the numbers of interpreters in Canada due to a number of factors, including occupational health and safety and a global shortage of accredited interpreters.

Our partnership with The Interpreter’s Lab ensures that NATIONS will stand ready to fill this increased demand in the Canadian market with interpreters who have the highest calibre of professional training available. We will also be providing this training to our clients who want to train in-house staff to also meet this increasing demand.
