Passionate about languages from an early age, Beau Brock, PhD, has an MA in Romance Languages from the University of British Columbia and a PhD in French Linguistics from the University of Toronto. He has been translating and revising professionally since 2007 and is ATIO-certified in both French to English and Spanish to English.

In addition to his work at NATIONS, Beau has chaired the Canadian Language Industry Association’s Industry Development Committee since 2021 and became co-managing editor of the Editors Canada blog in June 2022.

I am a graphic designer and website developer with 24+ years of professional experience. My background is in visual communication design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a diploma in New Media Design from the University of Alberta. My focus includes print design, identity systems, marketing design, user experience, usability, and website design. I enjoy collaborating and developing custom-fit solutions, focusing on highly usable yet visually beautiful deliverables.
